JET

I got my postcard back from the Japanese Embassy today. That means that they have received and opened my Jet application. Now I just have to wait to hear if I have an interview.

The semester is almost over. I have two more assignments due. One for french class, which is a 200 word autobiography. The other one is a little more daunting. I am required to do a 15-20 page research paper for my Second Language acquisition class. We don't have a final exam though. But to be honest, I would prefer an exam. So our mark in that class is based on 2 tests, a presentation, and a paper based on that presentation. I don't know when I'm going to do them. Some time soon probably.

I have a new lease on life recently. I have been thinking a lot lately how I am going to continue after I graduate. JET is one option, but it is one of many. I need to start making some decisions. Or just wait until the last minute and see what works out!

After being in Japan for six months I found that location is EVERYTHING. It really makes or breaks your perception of Japan. Where did you request to be placed?
