I am finally over the worst of yet another bout with broncitis. I don't know why I keep getting it, but I don't like it. I spent most of last week sleeping and missed all my classes, but managed to get well enough to play our live.
We finished our live on Monday. Almost 3 weeks of practice and a lot of hard work amount to us doing pretty good. There were six bands total and we had to play last, which means we waited around a lot and all got really nervous. We had to be at the club at 3:15pm for our sound check and then we didn't play until 9pm. The show itself went really well considering that we were up against bands that had been practicing together for months and months. The first band to sound check was really intimidating because they were all really good. If all the bands had been as good as them, we would have been horrible but luckily there were 4 other bands at our level. We had 5 original songs and one Rage Against the Machine cover. We all had a lot of fun and almost everyone from I-house came to see us play. These are pictures from the evening's events. Go here for all the pics, below is the summary
